Grandma and Grandpa's

I flew to California mid July to visit grandma, grandpa and family. It was so hot I thought I was going to melt :)

18 months

Wow, look how big I am now! Mom was a little late posting this, but I turned 18 months old June 15th. I love this age. I can walk really well now. I can roam all over the backyard, play "chase me" with mom and dad-my favorite game, and cruise the house holding my sippy cup. Life is good. I am 32 inches tall which puts me in the 75-90% range and just under 26 pounds which finally bumps me into the 50-75% range for weight- yeay! I go to daycare two afternoons a week and it's really helping me develop my social skills. I love to wave at all the cars and people passing by. Oh and I still have an ongoing obsession with doggies. Maybe mom and dad will get me one when I'm older??

I still like to crawl up the slide and go down face first on my belly. I haven't nailed down the whole "sit and slide" concept yet. Mom and dad just shake their head and laugh at all my "adaptations" to this big new world. I just make it work for me.

Good Times

I'm a pretty happy guy lately. Warm weather, new toys and finally walking a bit, what more could a toddler ask for?

I went for my first bike ride with mom and dad. It was a little cool outside so we bundled up.

I walked around the whole park by myself, I'm really getting the hang of this walking business.

Look who's walking

Look at me! I'm finally taking my first independent steps.
I still get nervous, but I'm getting more comfortable everyday.
I can stand on my own for a few minutes now while playing with toys. I picked up this cute new trick at daycare- it's called " dance dance" where I hold on to something and run in place while smiling- I think this is so funny and I love to show off my moves. These are huge milestones for me and mom and dad are so proud, all my hard work and physical therapy are paying off :)

Grandpa andGrandma :)

I was so happy last week. Grandpa and Grandpa Bryan came to visit me all the way from California

They played silly games with me and made me laugh all week :)

G & G pulled me around on my toy wagon...I was sitting on top of all my toys actually!

On Mothers Day went for a walk at the Cueno museum and gardens

We finally took a much needed vacation to sunny Florida- this was the first time I went to the ocean

What I really enjoyed most was swimming with mom. I surprised everyone by kicking my legs and arms and pretty much swimming on my own...with the help of mom holding up my tummy of course
