Birthdays, Santa fun and Emily smiles :)

Santa came to preschool today. It was pretty fun for mom because Santa is actually a respiratory therapist that mom works with at the hospital. His name is Tom and we rented a house next to him during our remodel. He was very excited to see both the kids. Colin had mixed feelings about the whole experience :)

Santa thought he would definitely get a smile from Colin if he wagged his ears- I didn't have the heart to tell him that with a sensory kid he's most likely going to get tears instead of smiles :) But Colin handled it well :O

Of course Emily grabbed a handful of Santa's REAL beard and Tom handled it like pro. It was really cute.

Colin had a really fun day at school. He wore his birthday crown the whole time and the kids at preschool sang Happy Birthday. He wasn't totally aware it was it birthday because we are celebrating next week, but he sort of caught on by the end of the day :)

Growing up so fast

Colin was so proud of himself he walked downstairs and "made breakfast" he proclaimed. Nice choice. He did get in his chair by himself and ate on his mat at least :)

Colin's first pumpkin- with the help from mom. We had a pumpkin decorating play date with friends and it was a little overwhelming at first so mommy finished the pumpkin, but it looks more like a reindeer :)

Finally riding the bike! With a few pushes and steering corrections from mom or dad, he can ride a bit around the driveway now.

Bye Bye...he said he was riding to Nani and Papa's house.
