Day at the Lake

The weather has been fantastic lately so we spent the afternoon at Lake Minear

I liked playing under the canopy that mom and dad bought for me

Mom and I flew to California again to have some fun in the sun.
I stayed for a whole week at Grandma and Grandpa's house

Grandma bought me my first swimming pool.
I was so excited I tried to grab the fish on the bottom!

We went to a BBQ at Jean and Bruce's new house and
I tried to make friends with the curious little furry creatures.
They seem to really like me too.

We spent the afternoon at the lake and Grandma played with me in the water

I LOVED swimming in the pool. I think I'm really going to like
the water when I grow up.

July Fourth Fun

I had a really great time celebrating Independence Day!

We tried another photo shoot with mom

Mom, dad and I took a long walk on this beautiful sunny day

I played with dad on the floor

We talked about "guy stuff"

I went to my first fireworks show, I slept the entire time :)

This was my first train ride downtown for the Taste of Chicago Festival

I thought the train ride was pretty cool

This is my favorite blanket.
Now I have to take it everywhere with me, I love to nap with it.

We played in the park when we stopped for lunch

We took a rest at the art museum before heading back home
