Summer Time

It's finally starting to feel like summer. Mom can finally dress me in some of my little man outfits. She thought this one was so cute, we had an impromptu photo shoot.

Now that I'm teething, I love to snack on my toys

I'm 6 months old!

I'm so excited for my "half birthday"
We celebrated with some rice cereal and a diaper change :)

I"m getting so big now.
I weigh just over 14lbs and sprouted to 25 inches long.
I can roll over from tummy to back and almost back to tummy.
I really like to wiggle around and try desperately to crawl
but I haven't figure out how to get my big belly off the ground.

I started eating cereal this week-Check out my first few attempts below

I like to take everything I can grasp in my little hands and shove it in my mouth. I'm learning how to entertain myself a bit and love sitting on my play mat and checking out at all the cool toys my friends gave me.

Since I discovered my thumb I've started sleeping 10-12 hours a night...straight. My parents couldn't be happier. I take a few short naps in the day but just like my mom, I love at least 9-10 hours of solid sleep a night...the more the better.

Except for an occasional meltdown I'm a pretty happy guy now. I love to smile really big and giggle at my parents silly songs and games. I'm learning to laugh out loud and squeal like a girly.

O' Canada

xmi qWe drove to Toronto to meet many members
of the Planeta family for the first time.
I handled the 9 hour trip like a champ with only one meltdown
on the way there, which resolved after I got out of my car seat
and played on the table at Subway

Mom took me for a walk in the park. We watched the squirrels and took a nap

Good trip! After a total of 18 hours in the car, 2 meltdowns, 5 stops for feeding and 6 diaper changes....I think we'll fly next time ;)
