1 year old!!

I turned 1 year old today!
We're having a big party with family in California, so stay posted for more pictures
Here's a few to show you what I've been up to lately:)

I was excited and puzzled by all the snow we've had lately

I was a little puzzled by all the white stuff !
So I just crawled around and tried not to let it touch me :)

Mom bought me yet another winter hat. We think this one has a Russian flair to it!

Now that I'm so good at crawling and getting around the house, you can find me exploring almost anywhere, this is one of my favorite watch towers

New tricks

Winter has officially begun at the Planeta house. We have 8 inches of snow in the backyard.
In preparation of my big 1 yr birthday, I've been practicing my new skills in the house where it's warm and cozy (while wearing mom's scarf of course...)

I'm finally crawling on all fours all the time now. I just love it when mom and dad get down on the floor and we explore the house together. The one and only word I use for all communication is "Dada". I can say it in 7 different languages

The bathroom drawers and diaper bin in my room are just fascinating- I open and close them all day long. I can take a semi "big boy" bath now where I basically swim around the bottom of the tub with all my toys. Oh and I really like the cute little boy in the mirror, I smile at him and try to kiss him.....it's funny he looks a lot like me :)

I've finally acquired the perfect mohawk hair, long on top, bald on the sides. I love it!!

Little man

I'm getting so big now, I'm starting to dress and act more like a little man every day

My mom has a big crush on me! I can look so sweet :)

Autumn Days

Fall Time

Fall time is here and I'm growing by leaps and bounds.
I'm two days shy of my 10 month birthday :)
I weigh 20 lbs and grew to 29 inches. I'm in the 90th percentile for height but size 9 month pants still fall off my skinny bottom! I love to crawl on top of everything and can almost pull myself up to standing.

I love to show off my teeth and I babble all day long. Occasionally I say moma, doda, and boba, but I don't realize what I'm saying, I just mimic my parents.

I think everything is pretty funny

I'm getting better at feeding myself but still prefer the mushy stuff. I would eat yogurt morning, noon, and night if my parents let me

I get really wound up at bath time, and then I pass out into a nice restful slumber. I still spoil my parents by sleeping 12 hours a night

If only life was always this simple and entertaining

What's so funny?

Out of the blue I had a laughing fit for like 5 minutes.
Pretty soon I was laughing at my mom...laughing at me!

Big Week

I'm on a roll now! In about one week I started to sit up on my own, I learned to feed myself little snacks, and my two bottom teeth came in. I like to keep my parents on their toes, relaxing is for sissies!

What have I been up to?

Well it took me all summer but I finally
figured out how to crawl.
It's more like "schooching" and wiggling, but I can
get across the room if I really need to
